Fire
Chief Charles 'Bud' Grey is a long time member of the Arcanum
Volunteer Fire Department.
He
joined the force in 1944 following his father, Arley, who
was also a member of the fire department.

The
Ahrens Fox Steam Engine is the jewel of the department
and town. Built in Cincinnati Ohio, this steamer was
the first item purchased by the Arcanum Fire Department
in
1881.
With

made the restoration of this great Steam Engine possible.
